True, we're not out of Hanukkah yet, and Christmas is still two weeks away. But the New Year--and, hello, New Year's Eve parties--will be here before we can say "auld lang syne."

To get your gorgeous gams New Year's-ready, Nichlovinblog Hines, chief ride officer at Cycle House (could she have a better job title?) came up with these awesome move that require no equipment--just your own body weight.

Warm Up: do this series twice

  • 30 seconds jumping jacks

  • 30 seconds of lateral shuffle

  • 30 seconds of jump twists, side to side

  • 30 seconds of air jacks (remember Molly Shannon in "Superstar"? That's the move)

Forward Back Lunges

  • Without letting your knee extend over your toes, do 15 lunges, starting with your right leg forward, and your left leg back.

  • Bring your left leg up to an almost-90 degree angle, while balancing on your right leg.

  • Return to the starting position--right leg forward, left leg back--and pulse for 30 seconds.

  • Do 15 reps, then repeat the entire cycle on your left leg.





Regular to Plie Squats

  • With your knees together, bend as if you're going to sit in a chair, and come back up.

  • Do 8 of these regular squats, then hold and pulse for a count of 8.

  • Bring your knees wide, into a plie, and do 8 squats. Hold and pulse for a count of 8.

  • Now repeat the sequence, this time just doing 4 regular squats and pulsing for a count of 8, and 4 plie squats, also holding for a could of 8.

  • Repeat the sequence again, but now do 2 regular squats and pulse for a count of 8, and 2 plie squats, followed by a 8-count pulse.

  • Last repeat: do just one regular squat with a pulse of 8, and one plie squat with a pulse of 8.



Side Leg Outs

  • Stand with your legs together. Flex your foot, then lift and extend one leg to the side.

  • Return to the center, without letting your foot touch the ground.

  • Do 20 reps on each side.
